Share in the British tradition of afternoon high tea at Murchies or The Blethering Place. Experience the grand IMAX National Geographic Theatre, a 6 storey-tall, 70 feet wide screen. Walk amongst life-size figurines, from the Royal family to Hollywood celebrities, at the Royal Victoria Wax Museum. Miniature World will delight the young and young at heart with over 80 handcrafted dioramas.  A excellent recent addition to the local attractions is the interactive Ocean Discovery Center, located in downtown Sidney.

The mild year-round climate makes for stunning gardens, earning Victoria, British Columbia the reputation of Canada's “city of gardens”. The world-renowned Butchart Gardens, spanning over 55 acres is open year-round and showcases the colors of the seasons in unique and stunning displays.  The unique firework shows are held each Saturday night in the Butchart Gardens starting on July 3, 2010, until September 4, 2010, are are a must-see!
