The renowned Harbour House Restaurant is located right next-door; open daily for dinner from 4:30 pm. Their delicious menu includes an excellent lobster and steak house special and their service is first-class. A private dining room is available upstairs, ideal for catered functions and group dinners.

Just around the corner is Santiago’s, offering a South American Tapas menu and a fun casual atmosphere. For casual dining anytime of the day, we also highly recommend Jonathan’s, located just across the street from our downtown Victoria hotel. New around the block from our Victoria BC hotel is the Steamship Grill, with a beautiful view of the harbour as you enjoy fresh seafood fare. Ask our Staff their near-by favorites for lunch and dinner! A sure hit with the family is the Old Spaghetti Factory; just a few blocks walk from our downtown hotel. Looking for a take-away treat? Try the popular Noodle Box, offering delicious mild to spicy Asian dishes at very affordable prices.

Victoria offers a vast array of ethnic restaurants and harbour-side eateries featuring the freshest seafood of the season. And who can resist the signature dish of fish and chips from Barb’s Fish and Chips, located a few minutes away at Fisherman’s Wharf. Also very popular for takeaway is Red Fish Blue Fish, at the Inner Harbour. Other recommended seafood restaurants at the harbour include 10 Acres and Nautical Nellies, all just a few minutes walk from our hotel.

Tradition of Afternoon Tea

A “must do” activity while in Victoria is to share in the tradition of afternoon high tea. The most famous tearoom in Victoria is the Empress Tearoom, playing host for the tradition of high tea for almost 100 years. Reservations are strongly recommended. Other popular Victoria tearooms include Murchies Tearoom, the James Bay Tea Room, Pendray Tea House, and Point Ellice House Tearoom. Each offers a unique English-style ambience and memorable experience.
