Cadboro Bay Festival will take place on August 11th from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Enjoy fun outdoor activities, bouncy castles, arts and crafts and many more for free at Cadboro-Gyro Park. There will also be live music, food, and artists creating amazing sand sculptures right before your eyes. Be sure to wear sunscreen! 

Ryder Hesjedal’s Tour de Victoria is an annual event and this year it is their 9th anniversary on August 17th. Up to 2,200 bikers will join the race from all over Canada and USA. The race includes distances from 15km all the way to 160km to match everyone’s skill levels. There is even a kids’ race on the legislatue grounds. Races start at Victoria’s iconic Inner Harbour at 7:00am and end there at 4:30pm.  

Fringe Festival is a Vancouver Island festival tradition for thirty-two years, Victoria Fringe Theatre Festival takes over downtown Victoria BC each summer for a 12-day celebration of live performance from around the world, featuring an eclectic mixture of spoken word, drama, musicals, dance, comedy, magic, theatre for young audiences and more. Greek Fest returns for its 18th year August 23 – 25 & August 30 – September 2, 2019 ; 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. daily. Families looking for fun activities this August will love the fabulous food, and exciting entertainment at the Annual Victoria Greek Fest. 42nd Annual Classic Boat Festival kicks off on August 30th with cannon salute announcing the arrival of the Honorary Commodore at 12:00pm, however the docks open to the public at 8:00am. The silent auction, boat race, and other fun events and workshops will all be taking place until and including September 1st. The festival will be showcasing up to 100 classic boats including both yachts and work boats. Make sure to check out this one of a kind festival at the Inner Harbour!

Vancouver Island Blues Bash will be going on this year August 31st to September 2nd, featuring many artists such as the Mark Crissinger Band, Blue Dog Ramble and many more.
